AP Health is a private practice comprised of advanced practice providers. We provide perioperative services to hospitals, surgeons, and surgery centers.



AP Health’s division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in Nashville, TN. The candidate will work alongside other providers to provide service line coverage. A successful candidate has approximately 2 years’ experience in endoscopic vein harvesting and cardiac surgery. The position would allow the chosen applicant to first assist in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery and perform endoscopic vein harvesting. This is an "OR Only" position with no clinical requirements.

Reports to the Vice President of Cardiac Services



Position Responsibilities:

Surgical First assisting in surgery for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases

Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)

Rotating on call coverage on weekends only in the CVOR



Qualifications:

Approximately 2 years’ experience in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) and Cardiac Surgery

Tennessee State License

Board-certified Physician Assistant

Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant School

Demonstrates a passion for making a positive difference in patient care

Entrepreneurial spirit

Ability to obtain hospital privileges
