Our affiliated practice, Florida Woman Care, is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our affiliate practice in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

About the Practice:

The practice consists of 6 physicians, 3 nurse practitioners and 5 midwives. This practice is very well established and has been serving women in the treasure coast for several decades. There are 3 office locations: Jensen Beach, Port St. Lucie, and Tradition. The CNM will perform deliveries at Tradition Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Florida.

Position Highlights:

80 deliveries per month as a group

Flexible work schedule

2 call shifts per week

Primary focus is call coverage with a mixture of clinic

Practice has been in the area for the past 50 years

Port St. Lucie/Jensen Beach are situated on the Atlantic coast of southern Florida. The Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens features areas devoted to orchids, bamboo and native plants, as well as butterflies and hummingbirds. The Riverwalk Boardwalk winds through nearby mangroves. Southeast of the center, the waterways of the North Fork St. Lucie Aquatic Preserve are home to manatees, river otters, egrets and alligators.

Requirements:

AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife

Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)

Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)

Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license

CPR and NALS Certification

Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain

One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred
