Our OB-GYN Clinic has the pleasure of caring for a range of patients from adolescence to the elderly and sees 150-200 patients per day.
The MA role is an integral part to the clinic’s ability to provide excellent patient care and flow. Some of the tasks included but not limited to- patient rooming, assisting with exams and procedures including Colposcopies, LEEPs, Urodynamic testing, Cystoscopy, D&C, and Botox injections in the bladder as well as FMLA paperwork, prescription refills, prior authorizations, and pre visit phone calls. Successful MAs have the ability to work as a team, strong work ethics, professionalism and flexibility.
Schedule: Starting 5 8hr shifts and has the potential to work 4 10hr shifts.
Responsible for clinical duties such as taking vital signs, giving injections, performing simple diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- American Association Medical Assistants (AAMA) certified - CMA designation OR American Medical Technologists (AMT) registered – RMA designation OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant plus 12 month D-H apprenticeship program – CCMA designation. - Current BLS certification required.Don't meet every single requirement?
