Position: OB Hospitalist - Full-Time/Part-time

Hospital: Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital

Location: Binghamton, NY

Facility Overview:

• NICU Level: I

• Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 63

• Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 12

• Estimated Hospitalists Patient Encounters (Not including Deliveries): 119

• Residency Program & Type? Yes – Family Medicine residents work closely with local OB/GYN group

• In-house Anesthesia? No

• Hospitalists support solo practitioners and OB/GYN groups in the community

• Rotating call schedule with community physicians for unassigned GYN cases

Responsibilities (Location specific):

• OBHG Hospitalists are responsible for all unassigned patients and any OB/GYN emergencies

• Circumcisions, first assist to local clinicians, OBED & deliveries

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time: 5 or more 24-hour shifts per 28-day block

• Part-Time: 2 to 4 24-hour shifts per 28-day block

Requirements:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement

• Active NY medical license (can Obtain during hiring process)
