The Role: We are seeking experienced Trauma Surgeons interested in joining a long standing organization with a heart for patients. We are seeking people who are either looking to join a practice or are exploring the opportunities in central Iowa to work in a large orthopedic group in the Trauma Team. If you are interested in helping restore optimal function to people with injuries to the muscles, bones, or ligaments due to sports or long standing injuries. Consider sending DMOS a current CV. We are located in West Des Moines, Des Moines, and Ankeny. DMOS is quickly growing our services so that we can provide the most comprehensive care to our patients.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be fellowship trained or in training in their area of expertise in Orthopaedic Trauma. Board certification, active Iowa state license (upon hire) and at least five years of direct patient care experience is required.

Located in our Des Moines, IA, office, you will be working in the largest hospital system in Central Iowa, serving a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital and two large emergency hospitals. Location: Our headquarters is based out of West Des Moines, IA. The Trauma team works in the Des Moines office closest to the two main hospitals. US News ranked Des Moines the 5th best place to live in 2019. Des Moines has affordable housing along with short commutes and easy access to Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City and Omaha. Des Moines has vast amount of entertainment options in our quickly expanding downtown or you could take short drive and find yourself in the quiet countryside.
