Need FT /PT OB/GYN Hospitalists

OBHG Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any OB emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.



This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

North Mississippi Medical Center is a 650-bed medical center that provides acute care and surgical services. It is the largest not-for-profit, private hospital in the state and serves 24 counties in north Mississippi, parts of Tennessee, and northwest Alabama. It is home to a NICU, three operating rooms, and two Cesarean section rooms, as well as private labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum rooms.



At St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital's maternity center, every birth is treated as a unique and personal experience, guided by a dedicated healthcare team. Their delivery options include vaginal and Cesarean sections, with choices for OB/GYN or midwife assistance and 24/7 on-site anesthesia services. They offer skin-to-skin contact and private delivery rooms equipped with customizable lighting and music settings. St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital currently sees approximately 1,600 annual deliveries.

Rush Foundation Hospital is a 215-bed facility founded in 1915 and part of Rush Health Systems, which includes seven hospitals and more than 50 specialty and primary care practices that serve the citizens of East Central Mississippi and West Alabama.

The hospital's Family Birth Center, one of the first of its kind in the state, features a recently renovated labor and delivery unit with 18 suites where new mothers can experience all phases of the birthing process in a single room. The Birth Center also offers midwifery services and houses a modern, spacious 12-bed  Show Contact Details  facility currently sees about 1,000 annual deliveries.

Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi, founded in 1912, is a 217-bed acute care hospital that serves the northern third of the state. Its newly built facility at 1100 Belk Boulevard was just completed.

A designated Baby-Friendly hospital that offers breastfeeding counseling and a unique program for expectant mothers called Beautiful Beginnings, North Mississippi also received a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of 'A' in 2020.
