Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the care of uncomplicated prenatal patients across the maternity journey, spanning antepartum, postpartum and interconceptional
  • Align with organizational objectives by delivering high-quality customer service, engaging in performance enhancement initiatives and showcasing dedication to teamwork and collaboration.



 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing is required. A master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in New Jersey.
  • A certificate in nurse midwifery from a school approved by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
  • Granted privileges from Atlantic City Medical Center medical staff.
  • BLS HCP is required; ACLS preferred.
  • At least three to five years of midwife experience, preferably in a Healthy Start practice setting.
  • Proficiency in clinical applications is preferred at time of hire. Incumbents in this position will be trained appropriately and skills are required within 30–60 days from date of hire.
