The Vision Institute at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is seeking an Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to join our world class health system. Must have completed an Oculoplastic Surgery fellowship and be BC/BE in Ophthalmology with the ability to obtain a PA license.
About the position:
- Help to grow the department's already well-established multidisciplinary care pathways by fostering ties to the primary and specialty care physicians, both inside and outside the department.
- Teach and precept residents and fellows in our hospitals, clinics, and operating rooms
- Research is abundant, and there is the potential (in both volume and willingness) to start an ASOPRS fellowship
- Clinical practice opportunities are available at the UPMC Mercy, UPMC Shadyside and UPMC Oakland campuses and at our St. Margaret?s satellite, where there is a well-established practice with real potential for growth of its cosmetic arm

- Join a group of 59 total physicians, a division of 2 Oculoplastic Surgeons, 43 Ophthalmologists and 14 Optometrists
- Practice locations include UPMC Vision Institute at the Mercy Pavilion and Oakland.
- Hours are typically Monday-Friday, 8-4:30 with one ½ day administrative session
