Surgical Observation
Surgical observation is an observation post-op unit for short stay patients that need to be monitored due to anesthesia, monitoring for bleeding, establishing pain regimen, etc. Most are overnight stays less than 24 hours in “observation” status. In this unit, we recover surgeries like hysterectomy, thyroidectomy, tonsillectomy, plastics, urological procedures, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, jaw reconstructions.

Qualifications:
Licensure: Current Oklahoma License.
Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
Preferred Education: BSN
